The project is scheduled for completion in 2028 and is being supported by a $900,000 grant from the state government. Shamrock Farms, based in Phoenix, distributes its products across all 50 states, with major retail partners including Kroger, Publix, and Dollar General. The company’s offerings range from traditional milk products to Rockin’ Protein shakes, which have gained popularity in the ready-to-drink market segment.

In addition to the Virginia facility, Shamrock Farms operates production sites in Arizona, reflecting the company’s commitment to national growth. Devon McClelland, president of Shamrock Farms, emphasized the strategic nature of the expansion: “We are committed to growth at Shamrock Farms, and this expansion is the latest milestone in our long history of strategic national brand growth. By continuing to evolve our product lines, facilities, and technology, we are laying the groundwork for future success and our ability to serve quality products that Shamrock customers know and love.”

Shamrock Farms is part of Shamrock Foods Company, a family-owned business now led by the third generation of the McClelland family. The group’s operations also include the foodservice distribution arm, Shamrock Foods, which supports the company’s national footprint and contributes to its diversified business strategy.
