Russian export of fermented milk drinks, including yogurt, kefir, and buttermilk, is showing confident growth. In the first six months of 2025, Russia exported about 37 thousand tons of this product worth approximately 54 million US dollars, reports Dairynews.today citing "Agroexport" data.

Compared to the same period last year, supply volumes increased by 8% in physical terms and by an impressive 21% in value.

Since 2023, Russian producers have resumed exports of fermented milk products to India and Tunisia. Additionally, the first deliveries were made to Argentina, Togo, and Lebanon. There is a significant increase in exports to the United Arab Emirates: while in previous years the volumes were measured in kilograms, for January-June 2025 they exceeded 1 ton.
