Revolutionizing Pakistan's Dairy and Beef Sectors Through Precision Farming and International Collaboration
During a significant event marking new partnerships, industry experts emphasized the urgent need for transformation in Pakistan's dairy and beef sectors, which are pivotal components of its agriculture-based economy. Dr. Rana Shaukat Hussain, CEO of Cloud Agri Pakistan, announced a strategic alliance with NASNA, a leading Australian livestock exporter, and Denkavit Nederland, a Dutch authority in young animal feed, to address these challenges.
This collaboration aims to introduce advanced livestock breeds and nutritional solutions from Australia and the Netherlands, enhancing local production capacities to meet the growing demand for dairy and protein amidst Pakistan’s population of 240 million. These efforts are geared towards modernizing the traditional practices that currently dominate Pakistan’s livestock sector, which is critical for boosting productivity and sustainability.
The partnership is expected to deliver substantial advancements by providing high-quality cattle and cutting-edge calf rearing solutions. The initiative also includes a comprehensive knowledge-sharing framework, designed to equip Pakistani farmers with modern farming and livestock management techniques. This approach is expected to elevate the quality of local produce to international standards, potentially opening new export opportunities.
