The attack, disclosed in a Form 8-K filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), involved unauthorized access to Fairlife's systems, including those related to production.
The company has activated its incident response and business continuity protocols in response to the breach. Investigations, assisted by external advisors and cybersecurity experts, are currently underway to assess the full impact of the incident. Coca-Cola has also involved law enforcement in this matter.
Despite the disruption to production, Coca-Cola assured that the quality and safety of Fairlife products have not been compromised. While production in the U.S. is halted, Canadian operations remain unaffected.

As of now, Coca-Cola has not confirmed whether any data was stolen or if an extortion demand has been made. No ransomware group has claimed responsibility for the attack, and if data was indeed stolen, further extortion attempts could be possible.
