Milk production in the EAEU in January-October 2023 increased by 2.9%

In January–October 2023, the EAEU increased production of the main types of livestock products.
Production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) amounted to 16 million 537 thousand tons, which is 2.3% more than the same period in 2022.
Milk production for 10 months of the year increased to 43 million 427 thousand tons - an increase of 2.9%. It is noted that, in particular, agricultural organizations produced 24,080.4 thousand tons of milk.
An increase in the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter (in live weight) and milk was noted in all EAEU member states (excluding data for Armenia). An increase in egg production was observed in Kyrgyzstan and Russia, a decrease in Belarus and Kazakhstan.
