Pride Dairy Expands Eastward, Reaching Over 200 Locations in the US

Pride Dairy, a family-owned business located in Bottineau, North Dakota, is experiencing substantial growth with the expansion of its product line to the East Coast of the United States. The company, which has been in operation since 1930, recently began distributing to nearly 200 new locations across the region.

The expansion was facilitated by an invitation from the Ag Department, which allowed Pride Dairy to showcase its products in New York alongside other businesses from North Dakota. Owner Kriss Allard highlighted that their products are now available in almost every grocery store in North Dakota, albeit not in major chains like Target or Walmart.

Allard noted that up to eight different products are being distributed in these new locations, all manufactured locally in North Dakota. The company's production capabilities include aging tanks with a capacity of 150 gallons each and the ability to produce nearly 40 pints of ice cream per minute, translating to 700 gallons in just two and a half hours.

Looking forward, Pride Dairy is also working on expanding its reach to the West Coast and various national parks throughout the country. The company recently acquired a former elementary school in Bottineau to further its operations and provide additional storage space.

Pride Dairy products are already available in states such as Minnesota, South Dakota, New York, Montana, and will soon be found in Washington and Texas. Additionally, their products are featured in well-known national parks, including the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone.
