Among these, the dromedary camel (Camelus dromedarius) stands out as a natural ecosystem engineer, vital for desert revitalization. The camel contributes to seed dispersal, soil fertility, carbon sequestration, and sustainable grazing practices. Moreover, it offers significant nutritional, economic, and cultural benefits that underpin the livelihoods of arid-region communities.
