The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan resigned

"In accordance with Article 70 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is decided:
1. Accept the resignation of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. Temporarily assign the duties of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Roman Vasilyevich Sklyar.
3. Members of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan continue to perform their duties until the approval of the new composition of the Government.
4. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing,” the document says.
An extended meeting of the Government of Kazakhstan will be held on February 7, 2024. It will sum up the results of the socio-economic development of the republic over the past year and present the tasks for 2024.
Roman Sklyar has been the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan since January 11, 2022.
