Parle and Rasna Anticipate Double-Digit Growth Amid Rising Demand

Executives from Parle Agro and Rasna Group are gearing up for significant growth as they prepare to capitalize on the upcoming summer and festive seasons. Schauna Chauhan, CEO of Parle Agro, and Piruz Khambatta, Chairman of Rasna Group, expressed optimism about achieving double-digit growth due to increased consumer demand. Both firms have earmarked Madhya Pradesh as a strategic location for their expansion in the dairy sector.
Speaking at the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2025, Chauhan highlighted the 25-year presence of Parle Agro in the region, stating that the company has invested between 650 and 700 crore in manufacturing facilities. These include modern plants for producing flavored milk and lassi, with plans to introduce more dairy products soon.
"We've expanded a lot in this plant," Chauhan noted, emphasizing Bhopal's central location as pivotal for their growth strategy. Khambatta echoed these sentiments, mentioning the favorable conditions for growth thanks to the summer heat and festive celebrations like Holi and Ramadan, which are expected to spur demand.
Despite the positive outlook, Khambatta indicated that Rasna is already experiencing stock shortages. "I'm sure this summer is going to be good business," he stated. To tackle this, both companies are considering increasing their production capacity, with Madhya Pradesh being a prime candidate for future investments.
Rasna's commitment to Madhya Pradesh aligns with its strategy to bolster supply and meet consumer needs during peak seasons. The company manufactures popular products like Frooti and Appy Fizz, alongside a variety of dairy offerings, in this region.
