Ornua Welcomes Connor Galvin as New Chief Executive

Irish dairy cooperative Ornua has appointed Connor Galvin as its new Chief Executive, effective May 2024. Currently serving as the CEO of Dairygold Co-operative Society, Galvin brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held various positions within Dairygold since 2014, including the position of CEO since January 2022.
With a background in finance and previous roles at DCC’s food and beverage division and Procter & Gamble in Ireland, Galvin's leadership is expected to contribute to Ornua's continued success.
Donal Buggy, who has been serving as Ornua's interim CEO since September 2023, will return to his role as Group Chief Financial Officer. Galvin, a science graduate from University College Dublin with an MBA from the Smurfit Business School, is committed to furthering Ornua's position in the dairy industry and navigating the challenges and opportunities ahead.
