The governor highlighted the region's leadership in commercial dairy farm development, a model now being replicated across the country following directives from the President.

"Last year, KZT17 billion was allocated from the national budget to build advanced digital dairy farms. Of 19 planned facilities, 11 are now operational," Nurmukhambetov said. "Each farm houses between 400 and 1,500 cattle. Once fully operational, these farms are expected to produce 70,000 tons of milk annually and create 500 jobs."

In addition to dairy, the region has made strides in poultry production, with two poultry farms already completed, boasting a combined capacity of 6,500 tons per year. A third facility, designed to produce 10,000 tons annually, is under construction in Petropavlovsk.

The region also reported robust growth across other sectors. Agricultural output surged by 30.2% year-on-year over the first 10 months of 2024, while industrial production grew by 1%, and construction activity expanded by 27.3%. Housing completions rose by 22.9%, and overall investment volume increased by 9.4%, reflecting strong economic momentum.

These developments underscore North Kazakhstan's efforts to modernize its agricultural sector and drive economic growth through strategic investments in food production infrastructure.
