Nominations Open for Fonterra Dairy Women of the Year Award

Jules Benton, CEO of DWN, encourages dairy women to put themselves forward for the award, emphasizing that it recognizes the remarkable contributions these women make to their communities and the country. The award not only bestows the title of Fonterra Dairy Woman of the Year but also includes a scholarship to the Kellogg Rural Leadership Programme, covering the program fee, travel, accommodation, mentoring, and access to DWN and Fonterra platforms for research sharing.
The judging panel, led by Donna Smit, sets strict criteria for applicants, seeking strong performers who demonstrate leadership in their communities and the wider dairy sector. The winner is expected to be influential in the dairy industry, holding or having held leadership positions in regional or national dairy organizations. The award aims to recognize women actively working towards the dairy sector's future and their leadership aspirations.
All finalists will have a professional video recorded, and their conference costs, travel, and accommodation will be covered to attend the 2024 DWN conference and gala dinner.
