In a significant move towards sustainability and value creation, Ontario-based Dairy Distillery has partnered with the Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) to break ground on a state-of-the-art ethanol production facility in Constantine, Michigan. The new $41 million plant, set to commence operations in 2025, will transform 14,000 tons of milk permeate—a byproduct of dairy production—into 2.2 million gallons of low-carbon ethanol annually.
