MACHINERY fr om a Neston farm is set to be sold at auction. The dispersal auction is being organised by Halls auctioneers following the successful sale of the farm’s commercial dairy herd at Shrewsbury Auction Centre last week. H Davies & Partners, of Manor House Farm, Puddington Lane, Neston, are selling three tractors – New Holland, John Deere, and Case models – along with two Telehandlers, a feeder wagon, Vacci Tanker, and triple mowers, together with all the machinery and equipment associated with the busy dairy farm.

The auction will be held on Friday, April 25, at 10:30 am, and lots from other vendors are being invited by Halls. Manor House Farm's dairy herd comprised 100 Brown Swiss and Fleckveih cross cows, mostly in calf to sexed British Blue bulls. Buyers from as far away as Scotland and Devon attended the dispersal sale wh ere the top price of £3,050 was achieved for a five-year-old Brown Swiss cow giving 32kg of milk.

The auction presents an opportunity for interested parties to acquire quality farm equipment. The Davies family, who have supported weekly dairy sales at Shrewsbury since 2017, has decided to split the family partnership to allow a new generation to carry on farming.

For further information, interested buyers can contact auctioneer and Shrewsbury Auction Centre manager Jonny Dymond at Tel: 01743 462620.
