Nestlé Expands Global Operations with New AI Hub in Hyderabad
Nestlé has announced the establishment of a new Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad, India, in partnership with Genpact. This move is aimed at reinforcing Nestlé’s global business services network, significantly scaling its capabilities across various regions. The new center will operate under the name Nestlé Business Services India Private Limited.
The facility is part of a strategic partnership with professional services firm Genpact, which will provide expertise in process intelligence, advanced data management, artificial intelligence (AI), and industrial automation. The integration of these technologies aims to simplify, standardize, and scale Nestlé’s internal administrative and business service segments.
Nestlé Business Solutions, the corporate shared services arm of the Nestlé Group, will manage the center. The goal is to deliver comprehensive business solutions, ensure process excellence, and enhance digital capabilities. This is expected to drive long-term commercial growth by increasing corporate effectiveness and backend operational efficiency, as well as improving the customer experience across international markets.
The Hyderabad center will combine regional expertise with AI models, automation workflows, and digital operations capabilities. The aim is to enhance performance, resilience, and execution consistency globally. Hyderabad was chosen for its infrastructure, technology ecosystem, and growing reputation as a hub for capability centers, according to Luca Fichera.
This initiative highlights how global food enterprises are reimagining business services with technology-driven operations. Tarun Chopra noted that combining Nestlé’s global scale with Genpact’s process intelligence positions the Hyderabad GCC as an innovation hub, delivering agility and measurable business impact across Nestlé's network.
