Nestlé announces $1 billion investment to expand production lines in Mexico

In a significant boost to its operations in Mexico, Nestlé has announced an ambitious plan to invest $1 billion to expand its production lines from 2025 to 2027. The announcement was made by Steve Presley, Nestlé's representative for the Americas, alongside Fausto Costa, CEO of Nestlé Mexico.
This substantial investment will focus on increasing the company's production capacity in the states of Veracruz, Guanajuato, Querétaro, and Estado de México. Additionally, Nestlé will develop a new distribution center that aims to establish Nestlé Mexico as an export hub.
Continuing its commitment to contribute to Mexico's agricultural sector, Nestlé will further its responsible sourcing programs such as NESCAFE and the Nestlé cocoa plan, actively engaged in states like Chiapas, Tabasco, Veracruz, Oaxaca, Puebla, and Guerrero.
Alongside infrastructural developments and special projects, the company anticipates purchasing agricultural products worth approximately $2.45 million, supporting local farmers and contributing to the socio-economic growth of the country.
