Nebraska Breaks Ground on $165M Dairy Mega Plant
Nebraska celebrates the initiation of a groundbreaking $165 million processing plant, marking a historic event for the state's dairy industry. The new facility, set to be located in Seward, represents DARI Processing investment's efforts to rejuvenate the local dairy sector after over six decades without such a project. Sector leaders emphasize that the facility is not only a modern structure but also a catalyst for large-scale opportunities in dairy production.

The core product of the new facility will be an innovative dairy beverage named "Moo’V Real Milk," which differentiates itself with its ultra-filtered, lactose-free, and high-protein composition. Notably, its aseptic packaging extends its shelf life to 14 months without refrigeration, making it a valuable addition to the market.

Once operational, the plant will handle 1.8 million pounds of raw milk daily, significantly impacting local farming by encouraging the development of new dairy farms and diversifying the agricultural economy. Additionally, the location in Nebraska was chosen for its strategic advantages, including abundant water resources and feed grains, which are essential for dairy expansion.

The DARI Processing investment is expected to generate 75 direct jobs, stimulate economic growth, and establish Nebraska as a pivotal player in the national dairy industry.
