The Dairy Index RU, calculated for raw milk with 3.4% fat and 3.0% protein, amounted to 37.1 rubles per kg.

Meanwhile, there remains a significant gap between domestic and external price benchmarks. The export index reached 40.76 rubles per kg, and the import indicator — 52.28 rubles per kg. This difference continues to reflect the higher cost of external supplies compared to the domestic market.

The NETEL Index RU indicator amounted to 6450 kg per head, indicating a maintained level of productivity in the industry.

On the global dairy market, Global Dairy Trade auctions showed mixed dynamics for key dairy products. Price increases were recorded for butter — up to $5.674 per kg, or by 2.7%, whole milk powder — up to $3.772 per kg, or by 0.8%, mozzarella — up to $4.127 per kg, or by 2.9%, as well as skim milk powder — up to $3.552 per kg, or by 0.1%.

At the same time, prices decreased for anhydrous milk fat — down to $6.344 per kg, or by 1.8%, and cheddar cheese — down to $4.560 per kg, or by 1.1%.

Belarusian export indicators for the Russian market remained unchanged at the beginning of May. Butter with 80%+ fat content was priced at 620 rubles per kg, whole milk powder — 350 rubles per kg, cheese with more than 45% fat content — 505 rubles per kg, skim milk powder — 235 rubles per kg.
