The Russian ice cream industry has experienced a decline in production and stocks in the early months of 2025, while consumer demand continues to grow. Ice cream production in Russia from January to September 2025 decreased to 485 thousand tons.
This occurred amid an increase in product consumption, which rose by 2% in January-August 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 463.2 thousand tons.
By the beginning of October 2025, ice cream stocks at manufacturers' warehouses also showed a negative trend, decreasing by 11% compared to the same period in 2024 and amounting to 42.1 thousand tons.
