On the third day of the Dairy Rally road trip across Azerbaijan, participants will continue exploring key dairy and livestock facilities in the country. The program includes four stops that showcase both production diversification and a high level of technological maturity within the sector.

Pasha Group Sheep Farm
This site, part of the country’s largest agricultural holding, is home to 300 milking ewes of the French Lacaune dairy breed, known for their high productivity and quality milk for cheese production. Milking is carried out in a specialized Turkish-made milking parlor.

Qəbələ Agopark
This is a modern dairy farm with around 800 Holstein cows. The average daily milk yield reaches an impressive 31 liters per cow. The farm demonstrates high productivity thanks to the implementation of advanced feeding and herd management practices.

Goychay Süd Plant
This dairy facility, with a capacity of 20 tons per day, produces a range of fermented dairy products, cheeses, and ultra-pasteurized (UHT) milk. However, its primary focus is juice production. Notably, it supplies pomegranate juice to the Russian retail chain “VkusVill,” which speaks to the high quality of its products and its well-established export channels.

Azərsüd Dairy Plant
One of the largest processing enterprises in the country, Azərsüd can process up to 300 tons of raw milk per day. Currently, it operates at a capacity of 120 tons, entirely sourced fr om its own farms. The plant produces a wide assortment of dairy products, including the highly popular Ayran.
