Raw milk production in Kyrgyzstan continues to show positive dynamics, playing a key role in ensuring food security and rural development. According to the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, by August 1, 2025, the total production of raw milk in the republic reached 1,068,634.8 tons.

This is 2.1% more compared to the same period in 2024, when the volume was 1,046,382.4 tons. Such growth is attributed to an increase in livestock numbers and improved productivity. It is noted that more than 90% of all production comes from private farms and farmer cooperatives.
The regional analysis for 2025 shows that the main share of production is concentrated in rural areas with developed pasture farming. Chuy Region leads with a volume of 272,263.3 tons, providing 25.48% of the total production.
Jalal-Abad (222,071.9 tons, 20.78%) and Osh (213,745.4 tons, 20%) regions together account for more than 40% of the national production, which is explained by their extensive pastures and traditionally developed livestock farming. The contribution of urban areas to the total production volume remains minimal.
