The financial support allocated to the livestock sector amounts to $21 million, with individual grants capped at $1 million or 50% of the eligible investment, whichever is lower. Interested farmers are required to submit their applications to the territorial directorates of the Agency for Intervention and Payments in Agriculture by May 17, 2024.
Currently, the Republic of Moldova hosts over 200 farms specializing in dairy cattle farming, signifying the sector's significant presence and potential for growth.
