Miura Unveils High-Capacity LX 300 Steam Boiler with Low NOx Emissions

Miura America has unveiled the LX 300 steam boiler — a high-capacity modular system for facilities with demanding production processes. For the dairy and cheesemaking industry, where steam powers pasteurization, sterilization, and clean-in-place (CIP) washing, such equipment has a direct impact on process stability and a plant's energy costs.
Miura Unveils High-Capacity LX 300 Steam Boiler with Low NOx Emissions

The boiler, part of the LX 250/300 line, delivers 250–300 BHP and steam output of 8,630–10,350 lb/hr (≈3,900–4,700 kg/hr) in standard-pressure (70–150 PSI) and high-pressure (170–270 PSI) configurations. Efficiency reaches 87% and 86% respectively, operation is possible on either natural gas or propane, and NOx emissions drop to as low as 5 ppm (standard pressure) and 12 ppm (high pressure).

A key advantage is steam production in less than five minutes from a cold start, enabling on-demand operation without wasteful losses during idle periods. Its compact footprint allows steam capacity to be doubled within the same space, while the Multiple Installation system provides scalability and built-in backup. Efficiency is further enhanced by the once-through watertube design and an integrated economizer that preheats feedwater through heat recovery.

Dairy Rally Georgia

Miura America positions itself as the world's largest industrial boiler manufacturer, with production in Rockmart, Georgia, and service support nationwide across the United States.
