The affected products, manufactured on February 7, 2024, and packaged in various plastic bottles, include "European Food Factory’s - Plain Yogurt," identifiable by the label "European Food Factory 100% Grass Fed A2/A2 MOOMOO Grade A Plain Yogurt" and bearing the lot code "Sell by 4-8." While no illnesses or hospitalizations have been reported thus far, the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) emphasizes the importance of adhering to pasteurization standards, particularly for vulnerable demographics such as the young and elderly.

MDARD advises consumers against consuming products that may not have undergone proper pasteurization, highlighting the potential health risks involved. The Farmers’ Creamery has taken swift action by alerting distributors and initiating a recall process, urging retailers and distributors to remove the affected yogurt from shelves and return them to European Food Factory in Livonia.

Individuals who possess the recalled products are advised not to consume them and to either discard them or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. For inquiries regarding the recall, consumers can contact The Farmers’ Creamery directly at 989-826-8666.
