EuroTier 2026, taking place on November 10–13 in Hanover, will introduce the EuroTier Milky Way thematic exhibition area for the first time. It will bring together technologies spanning the entire dairy production chain, from animal breeding and feeding to dairy processing and marketing, according to the German Agricultural Society (DLG).
Milky Way Dairy Exhibition Area to Debut at EuroTier 2026

The exhibition area will occupy Halls 11, 12 and 13. Alongside equipment and technological solutions, the programme will include specialist presentations, expert discussions and live equipment demonstrations.

Hall 11 will focus on breeding and genetics, animal identification and hoof care. The TopTierTreff area will showcase breeding animals, while breeding companies and organisations will discuss approaches to herd improvement.

Hall 12 will feature technologies for pasture-based systems, livestock housing construction and equipment, feeding and climate control. Separate sections will cover forage production, storage and feed preparation. It will also house a dedicated forage production area featuring the DLG Expert Stage Cattle. The DLG Forage Days are scheduled for November 12 and 13.

Hall 13 will bring together solutions for milking, milk cooling, processing and pasteurisation, direct farm sales, youngstock rearing and calf management.

The same hall will host the Barn Robot Event, a demonstration programme dedicated to robotics. Manufacturers will present automated milking solutions. Demonstrations with expert commentary will focus on the use of digital technologies in milking operations and farm management.

According to EuroTier Show Director Ines Rathke, the new exhibition area will provide an opportunity to examine how technologies at different stages of dairy production are interconnected. Key topics will include the impact of breeding, feeding, housing, milking and marketing on farm economic performance, animal welfare and production sustainability.

Sections related to cattle farming will also be featured beyond the Milky Way area. Hall 15 will house solutions for livestock building construction and equipment, while Hall 27 will feature farm and loading machinery, feed mixer wagons, transport equipment and slurry application technology.

DLG expects approximately 2,100 exhibitors from 55 countries to participate in EuroTier 2026.
