Milk Link has become the first business in the UK to integrate the advanced A3i Line Tetra Square high-speed filler, following a £1.5 million investment at its Crediton long-life milk processing facility.
This cutting-edge technology positions Milk Link as a global leader in the dairy industry, being the only company worldwide currently utilizing this innovation.
The new A3i Line filler boasts an impressive filling rate of 15,000 litres per hour, more than doubling the efficiency of older filling machines. This significant upgrade enhances operational efficiencies at the Crediton facility.
The A3i Line filler will produce the innovative square pack format, which has been instrumental in revitalizing the long-life milk category since its introduction by Milk Link. This format is now being used for long-life milks produced for major retailers such as Sainsbury's and Morrisons, as well as Milk Link's own growing moo brand.
