The Dutch company produces vegan products such as schnitzel, burgers, nuggets, and ready meals, as announced by Migros on Thursday. The purchase price has been kept confidential.
Sofine Foods, located in the province of Limburg, employs around 150 people. With this acquisition, Elsa expands its range of meat alternatives, aligning with the growing consumer demand for plant-based products. Elsa is part of the Elsa-Mifroma Group, specializing in dairy products and cheese.
