Meijer Now Offering SNAP Participants a Discount on Milk Purchases
The initiative, called "Add Milk," is part of the Healthy Fluid Milk Incentive (HFMI) projects established by the 2018 Farm Bill to promote milk as a part of a healthy diet. Meijer is the largest retailer and the only one in its six-state footprint partnering with Auburn University's Hunger Solutions Institute on HFMI projects.

The discounts are applicable for both online and in-store purchases at all Meijer locations and will be in effect until March 30, 2024. In addition to the milk discounts, Meijer continues to offer a 10% discount on SNAP purchases of qualifying produce and free home delivery for SNAP customers.

Meijer's commitment to providing healthy grocery options aligns with its focus on supporting SNAP families in stretching their food dollars.
