The project terminal in the dry port of Xi'an, launched by Kazakhstan, has a capacity of more than 66.5 thousand tons. DFE (twenty-foot equivalent) per year. This terminal will expand the geography of exports of Kazakhstani products, reduce delivery time and strengthen the country's position as a reliable transit hub in Eurasia.

Xi'an is the hub of China's transit center, and the dry port is the largest in the country. Up to 40% of the total volume of container trains between China and the EU is formed here.

In addition, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev opened a new Innovation Center created by the national company KTZ in partnership with the Chinese company Huawei. According to Nurlan Sauranbayev, Chairman of the Board of NC KTZ, the center is designed to implement the Smart Railway project, offering digital solutions to improve the efficiency of railway transport.

The Head of Kazakhstan stressed: "This project is part of the global initiative "One Belt, One Road", which was presented by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013 in our country. This center will be an additional impetus to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Corridor and strengthen trade and economic cooperation in Eurasia. I am grateful to all the participants of this project for the successful partnership that allowed the construction to be completed in the shortest possible time."
