Larson Farms: A Century of Tradition and Innovation Welcomes Dairy Rally 2025

Could you please tell us a little about Larson Acres? What does your company specialize in, and what makes it unique?
Larson Acres, Inc. is a family-run dairy farm located in the town of Magnolia, Wisconsin, where generations of the Larson family have been dedicated to quality, pride, and community. The Larson family has lived and farmed in Magnolia for nearly 100 years. What began with just 80 acres and six cows has grown into a farm that today spans more than 5,500 acres of agricultural land and cares for 2,800 cows.
At Larson Acres, producing high-quality milk is at the heart of everything we do — but dairy farming here goes far beyond that. For us, it is about doing what’s right for our community, our families, our animals, and the environment.

In your view, why is the Dairy Rally an important event for the industry and for the next generation of farmers?
I believe it is essential to learn about dairy beyond the boundaries of your own farm. Whether it’s touring other farms, visiting operations in different countries, attending conferences, or connecting with peers, these experiences are invaluable.
Events like Dairy Rally not only provide knowledge and perspective but also inspire farmers to innovate, adapt, and secure a sustainable future for the industry. They give both current and next-generation farmers the opportunity to see new practices, exchange ideas, and gain insights that will ultimately set their farms up for long-term success.
_____During the Dairy Rally 2025, participants will visit top farms, cheese factories, and milk processing plants across Wisconsin and Missouri. This is a chance to network with industry leaders, explore innovations, and gain valuable insights into the future of dairying.
