The highest milk yields per cow were recorded in Chuy Province, where the average yield per cow reached 3.169 tons, solidifying the region’s position as the leader in dairy productivity.
Other regions also demonstrated strong performance:
- Talas Province: Average yield per cow was 2.347 tons;
- Issyk-Kul Province: Average yield per cow reached 2.137 tons.
These figures significantly exceed the national average yield per cow, highlighting the strong potential of these regions in milk production.
Growth in the Dairy Sector
The increase in milk production in 2024 reflects Kyrgyzstan’s progress in developing its agricultural sector, including the adoption of modern livestock management technologies and improved animal care. The country’s dairy industry is expected to continue its positive growth trajectory in the coming years.
