Kyrgyzstan has started exporting dairy and meat products to the Middle East

Tilek Tabaldiev, Head of the Department of Internal Veterinary Control of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, said on Birinchi Radio that Kyrgyzstan has started exporting dairy and meat products to the Middle East.
"To date, new markets have been opened for Kyrgyz products. Milk and dairy products are actively exported to Russia and Kazakhstan. Since this year, deliveries to Uzbekistan and Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia have also begun," Tilek Tabaldiyev said.
He also added that meat products from Kyrgyzstan are exported to Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran and Saudi Arabia, which significantly expands the country's export opportunities and opens up new prospects for the development of the country's agro-industrial complex.
At the same time, tazabek.kg previously reported that milk prices in Kyrgyzstan are twice as high as on the world market. For example, the world price for [raw] milk with a fat content of 4% is on average 31 soms [per liter], in Russia — 27 soms, in Belarus — 24 soms, and in Ukraine — 17 soms.
He also added that meat products from Kyrgyzstan are exported to Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran and Saudi Arabia, which significantly expands the country's export opportunities and opens up new prospects for the development of the country's agro-industrial complex.
