Kyrgyzstan exported 26.1 thousand tons of dairy products since the beginning of the year

According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan, the country exported 26.1 thousand tons of dairy products in the first nine months of 2024.
The main export categories include:
Dry milk — 7,634 tons;
Ice cream — 4,448 tons;
Butter — 1,796.9 tons;
Cheese — 1,018.8 tons;
Cream — 660 tons;
Shoro (a traditional beverage) — 119.5 tons;
Kurut (dried yogurt snacks) — 3.3 tons.
At the same time, the import of dairy products amounted to 13.3 thousand tons, including:
Ice cream — 1,933.7 tons;
Cheese — 1,160.6 tons;
Yogurt — 670.8 tons;
Dry milk — 534.5 tons;
Butter — 275.9 tons;
Condensed milk — 196.4 tons;
Cream — 184.2 tons;
Cottage cheese — 6 tons.
