Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) expands its dairy product distribution, bringing Nandini milk to Uttar Pradesh.

The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF), India's second-largest dairy cooperative, is set to expand its operations by launching its popular Nandini milk, curd, and buttermilk in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh starting Monday.
This move aligns with KMF's strategic plan to extend its market reach beyond Karnataka. With its expansive network, KMF procures milk from over 2.6 million dairy farmers and processes it under the 'Nandini' brand.
Recently, KMF commenced distributing Nandini products in Delhi as part of its core growth strategy.
However, facing logistical challenges and operational inefficiencies, including meeting daily sales objectives of only 15,000 litres in Delhi, KMF is now focusing on establishing a stronger presence in nearby urban regions such as Mathura, Agra, Meerut, and Aligarh as explained by B Shivaswamy, KMF's Managing Director.
Additionally, KMF has plans to commence sales in Jaipur, Rajasthan, further broadening their footprint in Northern India.
