Kerry Group has confirmed the milk price for supplies in December, announcing a payment of 36c/L, including VAT, for milk with 3.30% protein and 3.60% butterfat.
The EU standard constituents of 3.4% protein and 4.2% butterfat equate to 39.5c/L. Factoring in Kerry Group's average milk solids for December, the comprehensive milk price return, inclusive of VAT and bonuses, stands at 45.5c/L.
