Kazakhstani canned camel meat was presented in Japan
Kazakh scientists presented the technology for the production of meat products, as well as canned meat and vegetables made from camel meat. The project is being implemented by a team of researchers from the Kazakh National Agrarian University under the leadership of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Asiya Serikbaeva.
“With a high protein content (up to 29.8%), they have no cholesterol. Camel meat is rich in phosphorus, potassium, iron and vitamins of groups A, B1, B2, B9, PP, C and E,” the Ministry of Science noted.
The department noted that, in addition to the Japanese market, Kazakh products have aroused interest among businessmen from Central Asia.
