Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin held a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mishchenko.

The parties discussed prospects for the development of trade and economic cooperation, as well as the possibility of resuming the activities of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture, "as a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to intensify business contacts, work on the resumption of the IGC's activities, and expand cooperation in priority sectors, primarily in the agro-industrial complex."
