JCB strengthens its position in Azerbaijan's agricultural sector
Tegeta Motors Baku is part of the international Tegeta Holding group, headquartered in Tbilisi. The company has represented the JCB brand in the region since 2007, actively developing both construction and agricultural machinery segments. In Azerbaijan, the distributor launched operations in 2022, opening an official showroom built according to the brand’s international standards.
Can you tell us how JCB equipment is represented in Azerbaijan?
— We have been the official representative of the JCB brand in Azerbaijan since 2022. Right now, we are standing in the JCB showroom, which was built in full compliance with the brand’s international standards. Since our launch, we’ve been proud to represent a company that is a global leader in construction and agricultural machinery.
How actively are you developing the agricultural segment? How is your client base formed? What are the equipment sales volumes in the region, and what are the prospects?
— The agricultural sector is one of our top priorities. We aim to develop it at a high level, understanding that the agricultural machinery market continues to grow and remains in strong demand. We strive to meet the needs of this market. In terms of sales: last year, we exceeded our planned figures. This year, we’ve set a goal to achieve at least 50% growth, which is a quite ambitious target.
So you have big plans?
— Exactly. We have serious ambitions, and we’re here for the long haul.
Tegeta Group represents JCB in Azerbaijan. Where else do you operate?
— Our head office — TechPark — is located in Tbilisi, Georgia. We've been representing the JCB brand in Georgia since 2007. Over the years, we’ve become not just partners, but key representatives of the brand in the region — you could even say friends of the company. We often emphasize that Tegeta Group and JCB share the same DNA when it comes to business approach, strategic development, and customer relations.
