Heavy rains slowed milk deliveries to Conaprole
Heavy rainfall has slowed the growth of milk deliveries to Conaprole, Uruguay’s dairy cooperative. The increase in deliveries declined from 15% to 6%.
Excess precipitation reduced production in affected areas. It also made it more difficult to collect milk in some parts of the country.
The slowdown did not take deliveries below the level recorded in August 2025. Conaprole’s intake remained higher than it was during that month.
The change in the pace of growth followed weather conditions that affected both output and the removal of milk from farms. The source did not provide a national production figure or identify the areas where collection was disrupted.
Conaprole also observed improved signals in international markets. No further details on prices, volumes, exports or the timing of the market changes were provided.
