Greek EPIROS Cheeses Strengthen Their Reputation: EPIRUS Receives DLG Award for Consistent Quality

The award is granted following a rigorous evaluation process and only to food producers that have been recognized by DLG for five consecutive years, earning at least three awards each year. As the society notes in its official announcement, the distinction confirms the company's commitment to the continuous assurance and sustainable improvement of quality.

The company's cheese portfolio played a central role in this result. At the DLG Awards 2026, four products under the EPIROS brand won Gold Awards in their respective categories: the classic EPIROS Original Feta PDO and the EPIROS Organic Feta PDO — both carrying Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status — as well as EPIROS Goat Cheese and the EPIROS Talagani grilling cheese. In the market for cheeses with protected origin, where competition among Greek feta producers is especially fierce, such a clean sweep of gold medals is a notable reputational signal.
