Forecast for Argentine Dairy Sector: 2025 Expected to Bring Growth
The Argentine dairy industry is set for a promising year ahead, with experts forecasting a 5.7% rise in milk production throughout 2025. This is expected to translate into an additional 605 million liters, culminating in a total production of 11,190.2 million liters.

The optimistic outlook stems from several favorable conditions. Improved weather, marked by beneficial rains, has positively influenced farm productivity. Furthermore, the internal market demand is steady, while international exports show encouraging trends.

As consultant Marcos Snyder remarked, "In 2023, one liter of milk was equivalent to a kilo of maize. Now, it buys two kilos, indicating a favorable economic return for the industry." Economists further note that, with reduced regulatory constraints, such as government-directed price controls, the primary production sector is well-positioned for a productive year. Notably, China, a major export partner, has reportedly boosted shipments by 12% compared to the previous year.

Industry leader Daniel Villulla of Caprolecoba highlighted these developments, attributing the growth to both climatic improvements and the export market's rebound. Enzo Milano echoed these sentiments, predicting sustained profitability due to stable feed costs and robust dairy prices. As one of Argentina's vital economic sectors, the dairy industry is primed for substantial growth, bolstered by both domestic stability and export market opportunities.
