FoodMaster to Invest 8.2 Billion Tenge in Upgrading Plants in Kazakhstan
According to the corporate decision dated August 24, 2026, FoodMaster's accumulated profit by the end of 2025 amounted to 12.07 billion tenge. Out of this sum, 8.2 billion tenge will remain at the company's disposal and will be directed towards the modernization of production capacities.
Additionally, 3.86 billion tenge is planned to be distributed as dividends—2,934.37 tenge per ordinary share. The funds should be transferred by October 15, 2026, in a single payment in euros to the account of the sole shareholder, the Belgium-registered company B.S.A. International.
Compared to the previous period, FoodMaster has significantly changed the allocation of funds. At the end of 2024, 6.23 billion tenge was allocated for dividends, whereas only 9 million tenge was left for production development.
Thus, payments to the shareholder will decrease by approximately 38%, and the main portion of the accumulated profit will be reinvested into Kazakhstani enterprises. However, specific modernization projects, their implementation timelines, and the distribution of investments among production sites have not yet been disclosed.
B.S.A. International is part of the French Lactalis structure, controlled by the Besnier family. The group is one of the largest dairy producers in the world and develops international brands such as President, Lactel, and Galbani.
FoodMaster has been operating in the Kazakhstani market since 1995. The company produces milk, fermented dairy products, yogurts, cottage cheese, and other dairy products. Its production facilities are located in Yessik, Shymkent, and Pavlodar. The business structure also includes its own dairy farms.
For 2026, LLP "Forvis Mazars" has been approved as the auditor of FoodMaster's financial statements.
