Fonterra's Chief Innovation Officer Komal Mistry-Mehta to Depart
Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd has announced that Komal Mistry-Mehta, the Chief Innovation and Brand Officer, is set to depart from the company in October 2026. This marks the end of a 15-year career at Fonterra for Mistry-Mehta.
Richard Allen, the CEO of Fonterra, highlighted Mistry-Mehta's pivotal role in advancing the company's innovation and brand strategies. Under her leadership, Fonterra saw significant transformations in its innovation and digital performance. She was instrumental in establishing the Ki Tua Fund and promoting the use of advanced technologies within the organization. Prior to her current role, she also led Fonterra's active living business.
Allen expressed gratitude for Mistry-Mehta's contributions, stating, "Her leadership has built a more connected innovation system for the Co-operative. We thank Komal for her considerable contribution and wish her every success for the future."
Mistry-Mehta reflected on her time at the company, emphasizing the role Fonterra plays in the New Zealand economy and its mission to provide dairy nutrition globally. She remarked, "It has been a privilege to contribute to the long-term sustainability of the Co-operative, and I am proud of what the team has accomplished."
