Fonterra Co-operative Group Appoints Andrew Murray as New CFO

Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Murray as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective August 1, 2024.
Mr. Murray joined the company as Commercial Director for the Global Markets business in February 2023 and has now been promoted to this pivotal role.
CEO Miles Hurrell remarked on the appointment, stating, "Andrew is a seasoned senior finance executive with extensive expertise in driving profitable growth and managing significant business transformations. His contributions to the Global Markets team have been invaluable, demonstrating a leadership approach that aligns with our enterprise goals."
Before his tenure at Fonterra, Andrew Murray held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Simplot Australia and served over a decade at Mondelez, where he occupied various senior finance roles.
Additionally, Mr. Hurrell expressed gratitude to Simon Till, who has served as the interim Chief Financial Officer since October 2023. Mr. Till will continue in this capacity until Andrew Murray assumes his role and will subsequently transition to a strategic advisor position within the cooperative.
