Fonterra Announces Interim Leadership Changes in Ingredients Divisiona
Fonterra, the New Zealand-based dairy co-operative, has recently announced interim changes to its leadership within the Global Ingredients division. These changes come as Richard Allen prepares to assume the role of CEO on May 1, 2026. The co-op has appointed Elisa Giusti as President Global Ingredients Growth. In her new role, Giusti, who is currently the Executive Vice President Global Ingredients Growth and based in Chicago, will oversee risk, pricing, optimization, innovation, science and technology, and R&D functions.
Additionally, Gaby Amade has been appointed as President Global Ingredients Sales and Operations. Amade, who is currently President for the Middle East, Africa, Europe & SEA for Global Ingredients and based in Dubai, will manage the ingredients teams across Greater China, the Americas, Oceania, and North Asia. Both Giusti and Amade will join Fonterra's Management Team, reflecting the company's strategic emphasis on growth and operational efficiency in its ingredients business.
The cooperative has described these leadership changes as interim until a permanent structure is confirmed. These moves are seen as part of a broader strategy to bolster Fonterra's position in the global dairy market through enhanced leadership and focus on key operational areas.
