Fonterra Announces Departure of Global Markets CEO Judith Swales

Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd has announced that Judith Swales, CEO of Global Markets, will be leaving the company.
CEO Miles Hurrell stated that the cooperative's shift in strategic direction provided a natural point for Judith to reassess her future.
“Judith has been a key member of Fonterra since 2013, beginning her tenure in our Australian division. She has held numerous leadership roles across the cooperative and has been a vital part of the Fonterra Management Team.
“Judith is a high-performing executive whose accomplishments include establishing our well-performing Global Markets region, successfully turning around our Consumer business to set it on a path for future growth with some of the world’s most trusted dairy brands, and leading our Velocity transformation programme.
“Her strong advocacy for the customer has positioned our Consumer business for continued success. I would like to thank Judith for her significant contributions to Fonterra and wish her all the best in her future endeavors,” said Hurrell.
Judith Swales will remain with Fonterra until July 31, 2024.
