Valuyskoye OJSC Moloko from Russia's Belgorod region has become the first Russian company authorized to export dairy products to Malaysia.

The first Russian enterprise has received approval to export dairy products to Malaysia.
The approved company is Valuyskoye OJSC Moloko from the Belgorod region, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).
"The company's access to the Malaysian market was preceded by the alignment of veterinary requirements and certificates, the completion of questionnaires and dossiers, as well as direct inspection by this country's competent authority," it said.
As reported, Russia has been actively focusing on the Malaysian market recently. In May last year, veterinary certificates were approved for beef and cattle by-product exports to this country. A memorandum was signed on supplies of Russian wheat to the Malaysian market in November. According to estimates by the Union of Grain Exporters and Producers, the export potential amounts to 600,000-700,000 tonnes of wheat annually.
