First Milk and Nestlé celebrated their victory at the Food Manufacture Excellence Awards by clinching the prestigious Collaboration and Partnership award.

This recognition acknowledges their commendable two-decade collaboration in establishing the Milk Plan, a joint initiative focused on enhancing the environmental and social impact of First Milk farmers.
The Milk Plan, which involves 83 dairy farmers and operates across Nestlé sites in Girvan and Dalston, aims to uplift sustainable farming practices. This initiative aligns with both organizations' commitment to promoting environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
Sobia Naheed, Nestlé Responsible Sourcing Manager, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating, "It is testament to all the hard work which has been done by the teams working together for two decades and recognising the importance of sustainable farming practices."
Lee Truelove, Head of Regenerative Farming at First Milk, echoed the sentiment, saying, "We're thrilled to have been awarded the Collaboration and Partnership Award alongside our longstanding partners. We're rightly proud of the hard work of our farmer members to meet the highest environmental and sustainability standards."
The Food Manufacture Excellence Awards honor outstanding achievements in food processing at both corporate and individual levels. The award ceremony took place at the London Hilton Bankside on Thursday, 8th February, marking a significant recognition of the enduring collaboration between First Milk and Nestlé.
