ExpoGroup Establishes International Agro Platform KazAgroFarm-2026 in Astana
According to Sholpan Kozhabaeva, director of ExpoGroup and the project's author, the exhibition is designed as a working platform for meetings between producers, suppliers, farmers, and clients. In an interview with ElDala.kz, she linked its development to the continuous updating of content and adherence to international exhibition business standards.
KazAgroFarm-2026 will be held from October 21 to 23 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana. About 350 companies from more than 25 countries are expected to participate in the exhibition. In arranging the participants, the organizers consider both countries and companies already working with Kazakhstan as well as new markets considering entering the Kazakh platform.
The organizers expect the ministers of agriculture from Libya and the Czech Republic, the deputy minister of agriculture from Iran, and professional delegations from Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, Spain, China, and other countries. Kozhabaeva stated that participants come for business interactions, and the exhibition has become a place for international industry dialogue.
ExpoGroup organizes KazAgroFarm independently as a commercial project. When asked about financial support from relevant government agencies, Kozhabaeva replied, "If you mean financial support, that has never happened!" According to her, guests often come to Kazakhstan not only during the exhibition days but also visit farms, agricultural enterprises, and other facilities in various regions of the country beforehand.
The organizer does not consider the number of companies to be the only indicator of success. Some participants need to find a partner, others want to enter the market, choose a technology, or conclude a contract. The three-day program is intended to provide opportunities for negotiations, comparison of offers, and project discussions in conditions designed for professional communication.
The exhibition is also aimed at Kazakh farmers, who organizers invite to familiarize themselves with foreign and domestic solutions within the country. The topics cover soil processing, planting, harvesting, storage, and processing of products, livestock farming, fodder preparation, irrigation, digitization, and automation. Visitors can interact with manufacturers and suppliers, as well as with farmers who already use the relevant technologies.
Alongside the exposition, a business program will be held with the participation of experts and practitioners. This year, the Republican Chamber of the Kazakh White-Headed Breed will celebrate its 75th anniversary at KazAgroFarm. Its 70th anniversary also took place within the framework of the exhibition, and in 2026, a delegation of livestock farmers and breeders of this breed is expected to participate.
