EuroTier 2026 to Showcase the Entire Dairy Value Chain at the New Milky Way Exhibition Area
The new area is being organised in line with EuroTier 2026’s guiding theme, “Intelligence in Animal Farming.” Visitors will be able to attend specialist presentations, moderated expert discussions and live demonstrations of technologies aimed at improving the efficiency and sustainability of dairy production.
According to the organisers, EuroTier Milky Way will bring together solutions for dairy farmers, processors, agricultural contractors, service providers, consultants, veterinarians, researchers, teachers, students and representatives of the wider food industry.
“Intelligent technologies are transforming dairy production at an unprecedented pace. With the new EuroTier Milky Way, we are creating a platform that showcases these developments across the entire dairy value chain for the first time,” said EuroTier Show Director Ines Rathke.
She noted that innovations in breeding, feeding, animal husbandry, milking technology and marketing can contribute to animal-friendly, economically viable and sustainable dairy production. The new exhibition area is also intended to serve as a platform for knowledge exchange and professional dialogue.
Hall 11 will focus on breeding and genetics, animal identification and hoof care. The TopTierTreff, or “Top Cattle Genetics,” area will feature live breeding animals and information on current breeding strategies from leading national and international breeding companies and organisations.
Hall 12 will showcase technologies for pasture-based livestock systems, barn construction, feeding, climate control, forage production and storage, and feed processing.
One of the central features in this hall will be the Forage Production spotlight and the DLG Expert Stage Cattle. The DLG Forage Days will also be held there on November 12 and 13.
The final section of the Milky Way route will be located in Hall 13, where the DLG Spotlight “Barn Robot Event” will take place. Leading manufacturers will present robotic solutions for automated milking systems.
Moderated live demonstrations will show how digital technologies can simplify working processes, improve animal welfare and increase the efficiency of barn management and milking operations.
Hall 13 will also feature equipment for milking and milk cooling, dairy processing and pasteurisation, direct farm sales, youngstock rearing and calf management.
Additional livestock-farming technologies will be presented in other parts of the exhibition. Hall 15 will focus on barn and livestock building construction and related equipment, while Hall 27 will feature farm and loading equipment, feed mixer wagons, transport solutions and slurry application technologies.
EuroTier 2026 is organised by the German Agricultural Society (DLG). The exhibition is expected to bring together around 2,100 exhibitors from 55 countries.
